Meet Our Hospice Care team

Michelle Christensen, RN CHPN

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Ridge Hospice. Her educational background is in Nursing and Business Administration. Her experience has been as a Hospice Nurse Case Manager and as an Executive Director at one of the largest hospice agencies located in Albuquerque, NM. Prior to working in hospice she was an RN at a level 1 trauma hospital in Medical Surgical.  Michelle oversees every part of the care provided by our hospice in order to make sure we are always offering the best quality care to our patients here in Colorado Springs.

Dr. Eric Strodtman, MD

Our Hospice Medical Director grew up in Missouri near St. Louis. For his undergraduate education he majored in Business Management, with a major in Biology. He then pursued a career in medicine, completing his training at the St. Louis University School of Medicine. He moved to Colorado in the summer of 2013. He has worked as a hospitalist, in primary care, and also as a Medical Director. This role is yet another facet of healthcare in which he feels passionate about. Dr. Strodtman hopes to have a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families here in our local Colorado Springs community.
